$10 Lunch: Sandwiches at Andes Cafe
As we have told you time and time again, Andes Cafe is the bee’s knees. It’s cozy, the food is inexpensive and oh-so-delicious and the coffee is top-notch. We continue our love affair with the South American Cafe after trying one of their sandwiches for lunch.

Specialty: South and Central American food (with one of our favorite chefs running the show)
Sample Order: Sanduche Pollo a la Brasa – a sandwich made with fresh bread, charcoal-roasted chicken, ‘aji verde’ or Peruvian green chile sauce, sweet plantains and the traditional salsa criolla made with red onions, lime juice, yellow peppers and cilantro
